Candy and Caleb's engagement session

I photographed Candy and Caleb's engagement session downtown the other week. They actually are getting married and live in California but wanted to have some Philly photos while visiting. They both met at Penn so they have a history together in the area. Sometimes I worry about meeting someone for the first time on a shoot, but Candy and Caleb were so friendly and easy to photograph it was a breeze. We photographed in the early evening around 6:00-7:30 so the sun made such beautiful shadows, reflections and warm light.

We even got a rainbow!

Jennifer and Joseph's wedding

I photographed Jennifer and Joseph's wedding at Penn Ryn Mansion on August 18th. I had a ball photographing all the flower girls and ring bearers. The children really hammed it up for the camera. Speaking of hamming it up, so did Joseph, the groom! He had a sense of humor that kept me laughing all day. It was really cute how he loved to play with the children too. He was a bit over dramatic in some of the photos but it kept me laughing all day. Jennifer made her own veil which I thought was cool. It was cut squared off on the bottom with the same detailing as on the back of her dress. Click here to see more on my website from this wedding.

I just love this photo! These girls were sooo cute!

They really got a smashing!

Maggie and John's wedding

I photographed Maggie and John's wedding this past Saturday, August 11th. They really lucked out with the weather since the heat wave broke. This couple was referred to me by mutual friends, Katie and Frank, who I have to thank for giving me such an awesome couple to photograph. Maggie made my job easy since she is so naturally beautiful and never took one bad photo all day. She smiles at everything! We went to a new location for me in Philly for portraits, called the Belmont Plateau in Fairmount park. It has a great view of the city sky line. The reception was in Gladwyne at the Philadelphia Country club. It's a great room there and can hold a lot of people, they had 300 or so guests! It felt like all 300 people were on the dance floor towards the end of the night, this crowd could party! Click here to see more or purchase photos on my website.
